PeopleSoft Search end-to-end timing

Having recently installed PeopleSoft Search, search results - in this case, a search of Job Data from the Global Search Bar - are taking a long time (over 15 sec).

I am using Performance Monitor, but cannot see where the majority of this time is taken (PPM reports perhaps 2 seconds of the work). 

I understand that there are four tiers that interact at both PeopleSoft and SES levels, but I am interested in monitoring the time taken at each level of each of these eight tiers.  How can I do that?
