Invalid_Name_Exception :LDAP: error code 17 while pushing updates to OID

in Identity Management (MOSC)

We are using the 9.x version of the connector . We are currently provisioning additional attributes to OID . The attribute in question immutableID is a newly created attribute added on OID and added to an existing objectclass that we are currently provisioning. Completed all the required steps to provision as per Extending the Functionality of the Connector

Section 4.5 and 4.5.1.

OIM version : 11gR1.

Inspite of all this I get the following error.
