Custom menu group collapse in OIM 9.1

We have created a custom Menu Group and Menu Item in OIM 9.1.0.1. When the Menu Item is clicked to load a custom form the Menu Group collapes and the Menu Item is no longer visible. Out of the box Menu Group doesnt collapse on clicking any of the child Menu Items.

Can anyone point out what we are missing here ?
