PeopleSoft FSCM 9.1 BI publisher - capabilities

I know we can generate reports using BI publisher within PeopleSoft.  I have a scenario, please let me know how to achive it using BI publisher in PeopleSoft FSCM 9.1... On of the Bus.Unit is not on PeopleSoft, can they send us data and upload into PeopleSoft and use any exisiting template to create Balance sheet for them?  If 'YES' how to do that, a GSC sample transaction will be of great help here. And also wanted to know whether we can use BI publisher to upload data into PeopleSoft FSCM tables? Thanks and regards, V
