CPA Reporting
Our Internal Audit department is requesting a report that would reflect all releases created (by the end user) against CPA/BPA's that were generated without available funds to cover the release. Essentially, those that could not be approved once the Buyer received the notification (or automatically updated to approved status at the end of the WF approval).
Scenario would be as follows: CPA is created for $50,000 and there is $2,500 remaining. End user creates a release in iProc for $4,000; $1,500 short of the requested amount. Buyer receives the approval notification in WF but, can't update the PO, due to unavailable funds.
The PO would remain in an incomplete status until the master CPS is increased but, once that occurs it moves on to approved status. So basically they want a report that reflects the end user created the release prior to the update to increase the CPA amount.
