FSCM 9.0 TO 9.2 UPGRADE

Dear members,

We are planning to upgrade from FSCM 9.0 AND pt8.52 TO FSCM9.2 and PT8.54.

I would like to submit our understanding for your reviews and advise. Pls advise/correct/suggest.

Firstly we need a play demo of 9.2 and PT 8.54 with latest bundles. This is to release to our SMEs to analyse and prepare for upgrade from the functional side.

For this, We have installed a Vannila Demo instance of 9.2 and PT 8.54 using traditional approach of installation. We didn't give the PUM image versions to them. Also ours is going to be SQL server based.

1).Now before giving to the SMEs, we want to update the Vannilla instance with latest bundles and patches. In order to do that, do we need to use PUM to get the bundles and use change assistant to update? or we can use the traditional method to download patch and update?
