PUM installation on Amazon EC2

Has anyone tried installing PUM images on Amazon EC2. I downloaded the images and installed virtual box. When starting up the machine I get below error -

This kernel requires an x86-64 CPU, but only detected an i686 CPU. Unable to boot - please use a kernel appropriate for your CPU.

I can’t access BIOS for EC2 server.

My instance type is m3.xlarge RAM 15 GB and windows 2012 R2 installed.
