Debug Issue for Application Engine

I have a custom App Engine I created and that I am running in two separate test environments. When run normally (without debug), it completes successfully in our FINDEV environment, but it fails in our FINTST environment.

In FINTST, the message log states,  "Process Request shows status of 'INITIATED' or 'PROCESSING' but no longer running".

In an effort to try to figure out what the problem is, I ran debug through the App Engine (stoplight icon). After stepping through a few lines of code, the program terminated on me - App Designer stopped responding and the command prompt window stated info that included the following:
