India Localizations

Hi-

We currently are in the process of converting one of our subsidiary businesses in India onto our Oracle 12.1.3 instance.  We have a India localization installed when we set up HR, and we do have India ledger currently set up for GL only.  That localization provides us the seeded responsibilities for GL, AR, AP, FA, etc.  My question is what are the benefits of using this localization and the functionality opposed to the seeded EBS functionality?  Has anyone applied the localization with the additional tax engine in eb tax?

I am a little new to the localizations, but if we have the seeded India Responsibilities, does that mean with have Financials for India, or is that a separate product and install?
