PeopleSoft Application Server - How to archive/manage APPSRV_MMDD.log files

We have very large APPSRV_MMDD.log files. It seems app server keeps appending current log messages to last year's files. File name doesn't contain year portion so files are generated as APPSRV_MMDD.log. So every day when app server tries to write log messages, it opens last year's file and appends today's messages.

- How do you archive these log files?

- Is it possible to add year to file names? APPSRV_MMDDYY.log?
