Process of a PSJob in "No Success" ran randonly

Hello Guys,
I am facing a strange issue in my FSCM 8.9 / PT 8.47 application......A recurring PSJob was in no success with one of its processes stuck in "no Success"....The next recurrences of this job ran successfully.....However, after one day, the Job came into processing on its own....And whats strange is that the process after the one in "No Success" started executing.....
Questions -
1) How can a PSJob start executing on its own after 24 hours of being in "No Success"?
2) When a process in the job is already in "No Success" state, without its status being changed,how can the next process in the job start executing?
