DATABASE: Oracle 11.2.0.3

RAC: 5 Node

Storage: SAN - ASM

OS: Linux 6

1. Presently we backup our 95 TB database and EXCLUDED some tablespaces, so we can backup the database faster. These backups are  LVL0, LVL1 and Archive Logs on a tape.

2. I would like to create a separate DISK backup for tablespaces that were EXCLUDED from TAPE backup . This DISK backup will run only once a month. The main purpose for this DISK backup is that we can recover these tablespace(s) up to this DISK backup and we don't need to bring these tablespaces up to date. For example, if this DISK backup completed on 11/05/2014 8:00 AM, we would recover up to 11/05/2014 8:00 AM and we have other means to bring these data up-to-date.
