PT 8.54 upgrade

Hi,

Right now we are working on Application upgrade and our planned Go-Live date is April 2015.

FROM                     TO

------------------------------

PT 8.52            PT 8.53.13

FSCM 9.1         FSCM 9.2

We are in middle of upgrade and company want us to add PT 8.54 upgrade with the above project. Right now we are on Windows Server 2008 R2.

Now I have few questions:

1. Is Windows 2008 R2 is Certified to PT 8.54? (As per Oracle Certification, yes it is. But still I need your suggestions)

2. PT 8.53 is certified with Weblogic 10.3.6.0.0 and Tuxedo 11.1.1.2.0.       PT 8.54 is certified with Weblogic 12.1.2.0.0 and Tuxedo 12.1.1.0.0. How can I deal with two different versions if I upgrade on same server. My plan is to shut old (8.53) environment and start create new app/web/NT server after 8.54 upgrade. (I will install PT 8.54 in different location as suggested in Upgrade DOC) please suggest.
