Moving from Retail to Cost Method

in Retail Merchandising System (MOSC) Question

Hi All,

Would value your inputs with regards to highlighting to the client key impacts and things to be aware of when moving from Retail to Cost Method of Accounting.


Has anyone been part of such a project and which are the key areas that were highlighted to the business and how was that change managed?

What would the benefits of Cost Method be in practical terms to the Client - anyone aware of any reference material in this area ?
