Security Roles in BI Publisher Report Category

Hi, I created new Roles and Permission lists to assign it to end users who are going to access BI publisher Template online from Component. I also assigned "XMLPublisher" Menu in permission list by granting access to component "PSXP_REPORTMGR" in order to access Report Manager. I assigned all the Roles in the corresponding Report definition, security tab. If i don't assign Roles in the Report Category it is throwing error "User does not have permission to access report definition. (235,202 2) PSXP_RPTDEFNMANAGER.ReportD efn.OnExecute Name:Get PCPC: 9808 Statement:219". My understanding regarding Report category was to control row level security to the
