Looking for XSL to format query date data to localized date format when displayed in a pagelet.

in PeopleTools and Lifecycle Management - PSFT (MOSC)

Does anyone have an example of the XSL they used to reformat the Date shown in a pagelet.  The Date fields show as '2014-12-08' and I would like them to show as the users preferred date format, or at least our standard '12/08/2014'.
