Microsoft Excel cannot access the file

Hello,

We are on tools 8.46 and application CRM 8.9.

We intermittently receive the following error when trying to open a excel attachment or opening query to excel.

Microsoft Office Excel cannot access the file "file name". There are several possible reasons:

The file name or path does not exist

The file is being used by another program

The workbook you are trying to save has the same name as a currently open workbook.

This is not application wide but only to specific users on their local workstations.

Any ideas or insights to look into, please let me know.
