India - Service Tax Settlement Process

Hello We have implemented India Localization along with Base Oracle Applications (12.1.3 Version). It's been more than 1 year we are gone live and using IL Functionalities with respect to Service Tax except Settlement Process (Period End Process)

Current this process is followed out side the system. (Spreadsheet)

Now we are planning to start implementing Settlement Process in Production Environment. Can you please let us know if we need to be aware of any issues before we start this process (or) any impact of using this. Are there are steps we need to perform before we start using this?
