Converting MPLS link to a VPN link across the internet - custom sqr fails at different intervals

Scheduled PeopleSoft custom sqr writes 11 files to a server at another location. This process runs successfully across our MPLS link.

 

We are in the process of converting the MPLS link to a VPN link across the internet. The scheduled PeopleSoft custom sqr fails at different intervals. Attached is a packet capture of one of the failed attempts. At the end of the capture, you can see that there are some TCP Retransmissions and followed by a Close request. 

 

Can you tell us what would cause the retransmissions and if there is anything we need to look at from a network perspective to make the process work. Have you had issues with running a people soft process across a VPN link?
