PTF - HRESULT: 0x80070005 (E_ACCESSDENIED)

Hello and thanks for reading.  I have been using PTF for over a year, but have been running it through terminal server to our hosting provider.  In an attempt to improve the speed and reliability of testing, I have also installed PTF version 8.53.14 on my Windows 7 Enterprise machine running I.E. 9.0.8112.16421.  Note that I am getting the same error running PTF as myself or as an administrator.

  • When playing back tests, I get FatalError as the result, even though the tests will play back (with mixed results):

Execution aborted - Unhandled error: Access is denied. (Exception from HRESULT: 0x80070005 (E_ACCESSDENIED))
