How can I grant access to hidden Pivot Grid viewer without displaying Pivot Grid Folder?

My User's see an empty Pivot Grid folder when I grant access for Related Content Pivot grids. I have granted access to Menu: PTPG_WIZ_MENU and components: PTPGVIEWER and PTPG_PGRIDVIEWER for users to use Pivot Grids in Related Content. But the users see the Pivot Grid folder(empty) on the menu navigation. The content for these components are set to Hide from Portal Navigation(delivered).

Seems to me, if I am granting access to Content that has Hide from Portal Navigation turned on, the Parent folder should not inherit Permission list from the child.

I found an old Bug reference, 15843530, to this issue of. But I don't see anything after that.
