Site Search shows no results and no errors?

Hi, I am a novice to PeopleSoft and the person who set up the search engine is gone.
We are running:
Tools Release 8.52.12
Application Release Financials/SCM 9.10.00.000
Application Release HRMS 9.10.00.000
I am assuming we are using SES based on our version?
If I run the HRMS database I can enter a search criteria like "vendor" in the search box at the top of the page and get 56 results.
In Financials if I enter "vendor" in the search box at the top of the page it comes back with:
No results were returned. Refine your search by entering a different keyword.
