Oracle SES 11.2.2.0 with PeopleTools 8.54 - Search Instance

I can't ping my ses server on the search instance page. In fact, I can't get to the search page from my desktop but I can while on the ses server itself. I'm not sure why I can't communicate with the server. It's on the same network as the peoplesoft servers. I've configured IB and SES to be able to communicate according to the PeopleTools 8.54 for Oracle installation instructions.

Anyone have any ideas?
