Unable to connect using Application Designer and TNS (PT 8.52)

Hi all,

For a week now, I have been unable to connect to the server of our Production Clone instance housing an Oracle 11g database using the Application Designer of PeopleTools version 8.52 (I will call this IP1). I can connect to IP2 (our Production instance) that houses an Oracle 10g database using the said Application Designer but we need to access the Application Designer on IP1, however, every time I connect to it, the error "Invalid User ID and password for signon" appears. On SQL Developer / SQLPLUS / Instant Client, DB of IP1 functions normally and the "people" user can
