PeopleSoft URL - specify a proxy server

Does anyone have an experience using PeopleSoft URLs for sftp and ftp? I am wondering if there is a way to specify a proxy server to pass through. In core ftp there is a way to specify which proxy server to use. Is this possible in a peoplesoft URL.
