How to add buttons (approve, reject ) in workflow notification email

We want to add custom buttons in the workflow notification mail, and we have tried it successfully in EBS workflow notification page (see attached screenshot 'button_on_notification'), but failed in mail(see attached 'no_button_on_mail'), so please tell me how to add buttons in workflow mail if it is possible. Thanks!
