Has anyone implemented REST based Web Service using PeopleTools 8.54?

in PeopleTools and Lifecycle Management - PSFT (MOSC)

Hi Everyone,

We have just recently upgraded our tools version from PeopleTools 8.53 to PeopleTools 8.54. Our PeopleSoft Campus Solutions version 9.0 integrates with a number of Web apps  using SOAP.

With the new tools version, we are looking to use REST to connect with a new mobile application.

My question is, with 8.54, is REST now fully stable / matured enough to work with PeopleSoft?

Do you have any existing REST implementations in PeopleSoft? How is the performance compared to using SOAP?

I did a bit of research and it seems from 8.53 version and below, using REST still have some minor bugs/issues?
