Attention: To align with new corporate security policies, and to match policies adopted by other communities within Oracle, the My Oracle Support Community access requirements will change beginning September 18, 2025. Hub requirements in a PUM-enabled environment

Where are Hubs required to run to do maintenance in a PUM-enabled environment, for example:

1. Source is latest PUM Image (PI). For PUM, single VM hosts app, batch, web and database servers

2. Target is Dev system. For Dev, single host machine for app, batch and web servers. DB is on separate machine.

3. I use PSEMHub on PI machine

4. I have one PSEMAgent running on target Dev, configured to use PSEMHub hosted on PI machine

5. No PSEMAgent configured on DB machine.

6. I run CA to load target Dev information into PUM database.

7. Log into PUM PIA application, select Dev target and build package.
