How do I set the Closed Captions [CC] option on the video so I can see the background?

Hi,

I noticed that some of the accreditation videos are now being updated with the Closed Captions [CC] option on the video console (for example, Mod 8 for Level 1). Is there a way to change the caption style so that it's transparent and I can still see the video behind it?
