Short and sweet with Screenshots...about a commonly encountered (and regularly encountered) issue that occurs when applying maintenance with PUM -- ADS Compares failing with "User does not have permission to perform Compare from File".

Navigate to the PeopleSoft Support Blog by logging onto MOS > click on Space list pull down > select Support Blogs at upper left > select PeopleSoft Support Blogs at screen bottom.
