How Can we Capture Analyst Notes at Individual payment Adjustment Level?

In the table CN_PAYMENT_WORKSHEETS, there is a column for ANALYST_NOTES. Back when I used to do OIC in 2001, this column was available and it provided great place to document individual payment adjustments. In R12 today, you have a notes tab and these are internally maintained detached from individual payment adjustments.

How can we expose this column in OIC without doing significant OA Framework customization?
