implement custom web service in RMS

Hi,

I have build an external system that will send item creation related information to RMS.

Can any body guide me how to build a custom web service in RMS so that i can read that data.

or is there any other approach to implement this kind of solution.

Scenario is like we are having external quick item entry system, that will read the data from end user and send this data to RMS and create the item and send information back to user.
