Does OW 8.1.1.8 to 8.1.1.10 upgrade change the repository database?

I'm looking at applying the Oracle Waveset patch 8.1.1.10. Does this make any changes to the repository database? I may need to run 8.1.1.8 and 8.1.1.10 in tandem while I check things out. I know any kind of mixed functionality is frowned upon, but I'd like to know if  I'm shooting myself in the foot here. This IS a DEV environment and snap-shots will be taken. I just like to know what I'm getting myself into.
