Help implement PeopleSoft SSO using Active directory AD authentication

We are running Tools 8.53.02 on enterprise portal 9.1 feature pack 2 and HCM/campus solution 9.0. We are using ldap to authenticate the majority of our users into portal, then SSO to backend HCM. When users log into portal, portal uses signon people code to get respective Emplid from ldap.  Users then use the roles associated with that Emplid to access content references allowed.

 

We plan to add AD (after been extended to include Psft Emplid) to the mix shortly. I understand that AD authentication is been officially supported by Oracle since 8.5x. I yet to find any RECENT documentation on exactly how to get this accomplished nor the sample sign on peoplecode. We have no intention to purchase PDI at this time. There are not much info on the net on PeopleSoft AD authentication neither.
