Applying Bundles w ChangeAssitant directly into DEV without Compare...how does it affect future move

I've applied a group of bundles into our DEMO environment using Change Assistant with the option "APPLY WITHOUT COMPARE". Now in order to move things along in our project, our team has decided to apply the bundles into our DEV environment AND to override customizations there. So to me that means I will need to use CA with the option "APPLY WITHOUT COMPARE" to apply those bundles there and override customizations. Our plan is that once that is done, to have our developers go in and analyze the objects and decide what custom code to apply. Of course they will
