Status of Deal in DEAL_HEAD does not set to 'C'losed

After setting  a deal to Closed in the Forms UI a pop up appeared and stated that the Deal Clean Up Batch must be run to change the status of the deal.

After running dealcls and dealprg, the status does not seem to be changed to 'C'losed and the deal cannot be edited.

What should be done to reflect the change in status which is 'C'losed to the deal? What batch do I need to run?
