System is not generating excise invoice number

Hi,

User has created AR invoice before generating excise invoice number. Now, he want to generate excise invoice number. He ran 'India - Excise Invoice Generation'. Request completed normally, but, without generating excise invoice number. Is system allowing to generate excise invoice number after AR invoice?
