Conversion of Database Character Set to Unicode and changes in PS File servers etc

Hello All,

We were planning to convert the Database Character Set to Unicode using the Database Character Set Migration Assistant for Unicode (DMU) Tool for Oracle database. We are at Oracle 11.2.0.3 currently.

I am interested in the changes that needed to be made on the application side such as the PS_HOME/File servers for App/Web and prcs scheduler servers, COBOL compiles etc. I am looking for specifics on whether, I have to start a fresh install of PS_HOME using 8.53 cd's and HCM cd's or if I could just clone current PS_HOME which is at 8.53.19 and install 8.53 and 8.53.19 on top of it specifying the new character set.
