Multiple domains in the same peoplesoft application server accessing xdo.cfg file ?

We have custom pdf BI publisher documents which will be accessed by end users from peoplesoft online page.

Our Admin's are going to configure Fail over Domain and PROD domain in the same Application Server in production as shown below.

PS Home path: /appl/prd2//hr920/appserv

Domain 1 Reg PROD path: /appl/prd2//hr920/appserv/prd2

Domain 2 Fail over path: /appl/prd2//hr920/appserv/foprd2

In xdo.cfg file, as cache directory path is going to be unique for each environment, can I define xdo.cfg's for that specific domain and change the "JavaVM Options" in App Serv Config file?
