Can the job STKUPD be skipped if there are no records for driving cursor?

Hi,

We are facing an issue with the job STKUPD (12.0.9 version).

It is processing the driving cursor c_get_item_lic for a very long time.

Upon further analysis we found that this job is running for more hours when there are no records to process for a particular day.

Also we noticed that there is a bug 9907585 for the same issue (fixed in 12.0.12).

We will be applying the 12.0.12 patches soon.

We would like to know whether we can skip this job if there are no records and it is going for a long run.

Will there be any business impact if skipped, please advice.
