Conversion from PeopleSoft 9.0 to 9.2 - SETTLEMENT_DT field in the APDEFN accounting entry definitio

Once we converted from PeopleSoft 9.0 to 9.2, we noticed that the SETTLEMENT_DT field was incorrectly populated in the accounting entry definition tables (APDEFN, AMDEFN, TRDEFN, PAYROLL PAC/PPD), JGEN_ACCT_ENTRY, with the invalid value 'SETTLEMENT_DT'.

We have read on one of the PeopleBooks that "PeopleSoft General Ledger 9.2 captures and reports on multiple dates for single transactions, such as trade date and settlement date in order to facilitate compliance with International Accounting Standards (IAS)".   We do not need to report on multiple dates for our transactions; therefore, we do not need to use the new 9.2 Settlement Date field.  Do we have to map the SETTLEMENT_DT field to another valid field such as Accounting Date (ACCOUNTING_DT)?

Howdy, Stranger!
