Do we need to recreate ExcelToCI's when upgrading PeopleTools?

We are upgrading from PeopleTools 8.52.09 to 8.54.07. HCM 9.1 to HCM 9.2. Should we rebuild our ExcelToCI's ? We are on the same version of excel - Office 2010. Just wondering if it's good practice or an unnecessary step.
