[NN-ASC] Clustering infraestructure requirements

Hi community,

 

 

What we can found on the documentation of the ASC (System Installation and Commissioning Guide) is that before start with the clustering installation, you must check some connection features:

 

Before beginning the cluster installation, ensure that any L2/L3 switch supporting the
cluster has the Port Fast, Fast Link, or similar feature turned on.

 

We need to know if it's possible to create an ASC cluster using a L3 connection between hosts.

 

In case that no, what's the level of that NO: recommended or mandatory. As far as I understood, the VRRP shows the virtual interface on the service interfaces, but nothing seems to be related with the connection between hosts.
