tacacs-server realm-id?

Hi all,

 

I'm new to the forum (and ACME in general) and I have a question on configuring TACACS authentication. I have noticed when using RADIUS type authentication that we can leave the realm-id parameter of the radius-server config blank, and I believe the SD will use the management interface for the RADIUS traffic.

 

However when using TACACS type authentication I get errors when doing a verify-config if I leave the realm-id parameter blank in the tacacs-server config section. So my question is, is it required to specify a realm for the tacacs-server? If so I might need to create a new realm and assign it to my management interface. What do I need to consider when creating this new realm?
