Session-Agent monitoring on HA Standby node, How does the Standby SBC check Session-Agent state?

Hi All

 

I would like to confirm the theory/practice on the Session-Agent monitoring on the Standby node of a HA SBC Cluster.

 

I sometimes notice that the Active SBC reports a Session-Agent as "In-Service", but the Standby node reports the same Session-Agent as "Out of Service" with no other alarms.

 

How does the Standby SBC check Session-Agent state?

 

My understanding was that this is synchronization between the Active/Standby node via the sipd process?
