Configuration to enable transcoding

Hello

 

I am trying to enable transcoding on our NN4500 SD running 6.3.7. I tried following the instructions provided in - https://support.acmepacket.com/docs/PUB/SCX637/Net-Net%204500%20and%203820%20S-CX6.3.7%20M1%20Transcoding%20Essentials%20Guide.pdf

 

but cant seem to get transcoding to work. 

 

below is a list of changes I made

 

- created a codec policy that I applied to the ingress and egress realms

 

codec-policy
name TP_PCMA_G729_2833
allow-codecs PCMA G729 *
add-codecs-on-egress PCMA
order-codecs
force-ptime disabled
packetization-time 20
dtmf-in-audio disabled
last-modified-by admin@10.20.3.20
last-modified-date 2013-07-09 19:26:18

 

- disabled media-release on the ingress and egress realms

 

mm-in-realm enabled
mm-in-network enabled
mm-same-ip disabled
mm-in-system enabled
