IPv6: Is packet-trace supported?

edited Mar 19, 2013 9:55AM in Acme Packet (MOSC) 1 commentAnswered

Hello all,

I'm testing IPv6 in 6.2m11p4 on 4500. Capture receiver is configured as IPv4.

I have defined the following objects in IPv6:

  • network-interface
  • realm
  • sip-interface
  • steering-pool
  • session agent

Calls work OK with this configurations, but I'm unable to activate packet-trace for IPv6 addresses, at least I'm unable to receive traffic in that capture-receiver.

An error is generated:

IPV4 ERROR: V6 calling V4 API: /home/acme/cc/CHEFGA_integration/acme/include/acme/socket.h:389 get_ip_address()

sbc20-4500# packet-trace stop all

All traces have been stopped
sbc20-4500# sh packet-trace

There are no active packet traces
sbc20-4500# packet-trace start ACCESO:304 ::ffff:192.168.70.13
IPV4 ERROR: V6 calling V4 API: /home/acme/cc/CHEFGA_integration/acme/include/acme/socket.h:389 get_ip_address()

Trace started for ::ffff:192.168.70.13
sbc20-4500# sh packet-trace

Howdy, Stranger!
