Issue with sip-features for SIP tags (require)

Hi Guys,

 

We have a case where we are getting the following header in SIP request messages:

 

Require: timer

 

When we use “sip-features” to “pass” such tag to the other side of the SBC, we are not getting it passed to the other side but the SBC keeps rejecting the request with a “420 Bad extension” as default.

According to the manual, the request should be passed through the SBC if the configuration is as follow:

 

 

ACME-SBC# show running-config sip-feature

sip-feature

        name                           require

        realm

        support-mode-inbound           Pass

        require-mode-inbound           Pass

        proxy-require-mode-inbound     Pass

        support-mode-outbound          Pass

        require-mode-outbound          Pass

        proxy-require-mode-outbound    Pass

 

 

Now if we have a header as the following:
