UDP/TCP port alarm

in Acme Packet (MOSC) Question

Hi 

 

We are  using 9200 in our network. I have a  question:

 

Does  SBC throw  any alarm to the EMS server in case  there is some problem on transport layer  ?

 

We faced this issue in one of our nodes (not SBC) where TCP/UDP ports  went into hang state or the layer 4 stack crashed.For  some reason there was no alarm generated on application layer .

 

Hence  we are trying to  find out if such a  case happens will SBC throw an alarm  to the EMS for  transport layer.
