How to download packet trace off VME server edition

Hi folks,

 

 I am running a VM server Edition SBC:

 

ACME Net-Net OSVM Firmware SCZ6.3.9 Patch 2 (Build 286)
Build Date=07/12/12

 

I'm having trouble getting access to the packet trace file which I would like to troubleshoot for troubleshooting. The documentation states that this release does not support sending the captured packets off box in RFC2003 format. The files should be stored in /opt/traces.

 

The problem is I can't seem to get access to this directory using sftp. What is the standard procedure for accessing this directory in the VM edition and getting the file off box for analysis?
